When it comes to decorating, having vision can be tricky, right? We want our homes to be updated, stylish, functional, even have a vibe! Bottom line, we all want our favorite spaces to look & feel good. And they should because they reflect us! But recreating our homes can seem overwhelming. We tell ourselves, “I don’t have the time,” “I don’t have the energy,” “I don’t have the money,” and my personal favorite, “I’ll get to it later.” Before we can blink, three years have passed and we’re still sitting on a decades-old couch wondering, “Why can’t my house look like those on HGTV?!”

 

Let’s talk---real talk. There are those who can afford to hire interior designers and do a $250k remodel, and that’s wonderful! But I imagine a good portion of people do not have that kind of disposable income. My first house cost less than today’s TV renovations! Maybe you can relate? But that doesn’t mean we’re not worthy of having homes and spaces that are priceless. We all want the show-stopper rooms that shout, “BAM!” But right now, your budget can only whisper, “Snap, Crackle…” and not even “Pop!” BREATHE. Let’s take those first steps (together) and “Do Something!” The smallest drop of water can transform into a mighty Ocean.
